Multiple data points suggest the number of investors and AUM of passive funds have grown tremendously in recent years. Hari Shyamsunder, CEO, Navi mutual fund expects this trend to continue going forward.
Hari believes the time for passives has now come in India and the message of passive investing needs to be spread far and wide. He said, “Mutual funds will continue to play a key component in financial planning for retail investors and within this, we see passives to play an increasingly important role.”
In yet another effort to disseminate information and knowledge about passive investing, the fund house has collaborated with Cafemutual for the upcoming Cafemutual Passives Conference (CPC) 2022. Hari said, “CPC 2022 will play an important role in spreading awareness about passives and we are proud to partner with Cafemutual in this endeavour.”
CPC 2022 will address why passive investing is becoming more popular and will host various thought leaders who will take MFDs/RIAs through emerging trends and opportunities in the passive space.
The conference will be held on May 17, 2022 (Tuesday) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm at Taj Lands End, Mumbai.
