Building on the successful inaugural edition, the second edition of the Economic Times Best BFSI Brands coffee table book is set to recognise leaders from across the banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI) sector. The book chronicles those championing impactful change in the BFSI domain, analysing their performance based on market capitalization, diversity of offerings and brand recall among other factors.
In a press release, the ET Edge, an event management arm of Times group said, “The idea behind the launch is to create a positive business environment and improve consumer confidence to propel the country's economic growth. India's banking sector is likely to play a key role in being one of the growth engines of the world’s largest growing economy, and the book celebrates those at the vanguard of excellence.”
“Despite multiple policy and structural challenges and sluggish global economic growth, the brands profiled in the second edition of this exclusive book have created a paradigm of success for others to get inspired from. The book will be launched at a gala evening function to be held in Mumbai on February 7, 2018,” the company added.
The list of Best BFSI Brands was arrived at using research methodology crafted with the help of the knowledge partner, Deloitte. The compendium of brands will then be shortlisted under different categories basis their service offerings.

A high-powered interactive panel discussion with senior stakeholders from the listed companies will help in benchmarking best practices and pave the path for the Best BFSI Brands to take their performance to the next level of growth.
The book will be relevant for banks, insurance companies and consultants, mutual fund companies and consultants, share trading institutions, regulators, microfinance companies and financial institutions.
Prominent business leaders like Rakesh Jain - Chief Executive Officer, Reliance General Insurance, Manish Jaiswal -MD and CEO of Magma Housing Finance & SME Business and Antony Jacob - Chief Executive Officer and Whole Time Director Apollo Munich Health Insurance will speak at the event.
