She says, “When I started my career, I did not pay attention to investments kyunki paise hi nahi the (there was no money). However, I am happy the way things have shaped up. My first investment was in LIC and currently, I am investing in mutual funds through SIPs because it is trending. I invest in mutual funds through an advisory firm. I do not invest in properties since the returns are not very exciting. In future, I think I will continue my SIPs and buy a property abroad. In addition, I deposit some portion of my earnings in recurring deposit every month to save for uncertainties.”
When asked why she invested through SIPs, she says, “I think everybody has passive sources of income and they should invest some portion of their earnings in the stock market and mutual funds through SIPs because these investments will remain attractive for another 20-30 years.”
