Pune Independent Financial Advisor Association (PIFAA) has elected Dhairyasheel Patil as its new President.
Patil succeeds Rajendra Satalkar. The association has elected him at its annual event held on May 10.
Patil holds an engineering degree from Walchand College, Sangli. He had worked in the irrigation department for Government of Maharashtra. However, the entrepreneurship bug caught him and he started a construction business in 1986. In 1997, he launched his financial distribution business. Currently, Patil has 600 clients. He was vice president of PIFAA in the preceding fiscal.
Sharing his plans for PIFAA, Patil said that PIFAA would hold investor awareness programmes every quarter and encourage other IFAs to take up membership.
PIFAA aims to empower IFAs with knowledge and skills required to grow the advisory business. The association organises at least one such programme every month for members.
