Karan Datta, Chief Business Officer, Axis Mutual Fund has put in his papers.
In a notice, the fund house said, “Karan Datta, Chief Business Officer has resigned from the services of Axis Mutual Fund. Consequently, he ceases to be key personnel of Axis AMC.”
A source in the know has confirmed that he will not be a part of the mutual fund industry anymore.
A MF industry veteran, Karan has over 20 years of experience in sales and distribution of financial products. He has been with Axis Mutual Fund for the past 8 years. Prior to joining Axis Mutual Fund, he had worked with Goldman Sachs AMC, Franklin Templeton AMC & Birla Sunlife Distribution.
He has played role in expanding the footprint of Axis Mutual Fund in retail business and establishing strong relationship with distribution partners.
He is a Management post graduate with specialization in finance.
