BSE Star MF platform has announced the launch of its mobile app for mutual fund distributors. The exchange platform will formally launch the app at an event to be held in Mumbai on May 15.

The app will help distributors execute transactions, create mandate for SIPs, and track and analyse business on the go. In future, the app will also support online video KYC to onboard new clients.

You can download this app from Google Playstore by searching for ‘BSE StarMF’. Once you download it, you will have to sign up by providing their member identification number.

Kiran Nandavadekar, Head-MF business said, “In an effort to provide ease of doing business to our 24,000 members, BSE Star MF has launched this app to increase their productivity. With this, IFAs can onboard new clients anywhere anytime.”

BSE’s competitor NSE too has an NMFII app, which can be used by distributors to place orders for their investors. The application facilitates transactions like purchase, redemption, switch and systematic transactions (SIP, STP, SWP). Further, the application also shows the status of transaction executed through NMF II web platform.

Further, MF Utility also has its goMF app, which can be used by its empanelled distributors.
