    UTI AMC makes Rs.200 crore profit in second quarter of FY 2022

    The fund house manages assets of Rs.2.08 lakh crore as on Sept. 2021.

    The net profit of UTI AMC rose 67% in the second quarter (Q2) of FY 2022 to Rs.199 crore. In the corresponding quarter in FY 2021, the profit reported by the company was Rs.118.6 crore.

    The AMC's revenue from operations increased 38% to Rs.380.37 crore during the period. In FY 2021, the revenue was Rs.276 crore.

    The net profit is up 28% if we compare it with the previous quarter, when the company had reported a profit of Rs 155 crore. The revenue is up 11%.

    "We have demonstrated growth in AUM for the last four consecutive quarters. It is encouraging that retail investors continue to show keen interest in mutual funds," CEO of UTI AMC Imtaiyazur Rahman said.

    The assets under management (AUM) of the AMC stood at over Rs 2.08 lakh crore as on September 2021. The AMC received gross SIP inflows of Rs.1,196 crore during the quarter. SIP AUM as of September 30, 2021 stood at Rs.17,389.11 crore, an increase of 12.02% as compared to June 30, 2021.
