    ITI and Union draw highest share of AUM from B30, Trust and Quant the least

    ITI MF has a B30 AUM of Rs.812 crore, which is 39% of the its total AUM of Rs.2,093 crore

    Three fund houses - ITI, Union and IDBI receive over 30% of their inflows from locations beyond the top-30 cities, shows an analysis of AUM data of all the fund houses.

    The analysis shows that ITI MF has a B30 AUM of Rs.812 crore, which is 39% of the its total AUM of Rs.2,093 crore. B30 areas have a similar share in AUM of Union MF and IDBI MF at 34% and 31%, respectively.

    BOI AXA and Sundaram come next in the list.

    We have used average AUM of September month to calculate the ratios. AUM does not includes assets of domestic FoF.

    In absolute terms, SBI, ICICI Prudential and HDFC have the highest B30 AUM. At Rs.1.28 lakh crore, B30 AUM of SBI is far ahead of the competition. ICICI Prudential comes in at second position with Rs.67,084 crore B30 AUM.

    B30 has miniscule share in AUM of Trust, Quant and Edelweiss

    Data shows that Trust MF has only Rs.29 crore B30 AUM, which is 3% of its overall AUM of Rs.1,156 crore. In the case of Quant and Edelweiss, the share of B30 locations is AUM is only 5%.

    HSBC, IDFC, IIFL and Kotak Mahindra are other fund houses, which receive less than 10% of their total inflows from B30 locations.
