Rupali Dharamshi of Visionary Finsultants, Thane is a strong believer that poems are an effective way to reach out to the masses and spread financial literacy. She has thus penned down her third poem.
This time she has written for women investors. Sharing the rationale here, Rupali said, “In the multiple interactions that I have had with women, I realised that financially illiterate women still set aside money in their kitchen jars. In fact, irrespective of their background and education, many women depend on their male counterparts to make financial decisions.”
Titled ‘बरनी हुई पुरानी नारी हुई सयानी’, the poem highlights the importance of making independent financial decisions by choosing to invest rather than save.
“Investing in mutual funds helps to create inflation-adjusted returns and a sizeable corpus over time. And interestingly, patience which is the key here, is an innate quality that women are blessed with.”, said Rupali.
Notably, the MFD is also set to launch a book ‘Investing is My Cup of Tea’ for women investors.
