SEBI has reconstituted its Mutual Fund Advisory Committee (MFAC), which will continue to be headed by former RBI Deputy Governor Usha Thorat.
Among the key additions is President of Foundation of Independent Financial Advisors (FIFA) Dhruv Mehta. He is the first representative of the individual MFD community in the 24-member panel.
Neeraj Choksi of NJ India Invest will also represents the distribution community.
Other new additions to the team include Rajesh Panwar of Ministry of Finance, Rajiv Naresh of Navi MF, Shamsher Singh of SBI MF, Sundaraman Ramamurthy of BSE and TT Ram Mohan, of Economic Advisory Council.
They will replace Anant Narayan of SP Jain Institute, J Ranganayakulu of Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Navin Agarwal of MOSL MF, Saurabh Jain of Navi MF, Saurabh Nanavati of Invesco MF and Vinay Tonse of SBI MF among others.
