MFD Vishal Malhotra from Lucknow has expressed his sincere thanks to the MF industry for contributing Rs. 13 lakh towards his cancer treatment. The brave MFD said that he received Rs. 6 lakh in Tata Memorial Hospital Trust and the remaining Rs. 7 lakh in savings account.
He said, “The hospital will adjust the current outstanding of around Rs 3 lakh and use the balance for further treatment.”
He further said, “I will repay medical dues with credit card companies from the amount deposited in my savings account. This will largely take care of the total outstanding of Rs 7.50 lakh.”
Vishal is battling colon cancer since 2019 and needed Rs. 25 lakh for continuing his treatment. As soon as the news went out on the Cafemutual website on August 17, 2023, MF distributors and employees across the country came forward to do their bit and collectively contributed Rs. 13 lakh.
Thanking everyone for their benevolent support, the MFD said, “I am grateful to each one of you for your big-heartedness. Thank you for coming forward in my tough days. May God bless you all with health, wealth and prosperity always.”
