    Crisil Mutual Fund Ranking for the quarter ended June 2023 shows that 3 aggressive funds, 2 conservative funds and 2 arbitrage funds have made it to the top in the hybrid space.

    Edelweiss Aggressive Hybrid, ICICI Prudential Equity & Debt and Kotak Equity Hybrid are the top three aggressive hybrid funds. The rankings are similar to March 2023, except for Edelweiss Aggressive Hybrid which moved one position up.

    In the conservative hybrid category, the global analytics company ranks HSBC Conservative Hybrid Fund and Kotak Debt Hybrid Fund as top performers. As against March 2023, the ranking for HSBC Conservative Hybrid Fund improved by one spot and that of Kotak Debt Hybrid Fund remained unchanged.

    Methodology

    Crisil has ranked only open-ended schemes and has considered various parameters for assigning a ranking. “The basic criteria for inclusion in the ranking universe are three-year/one-year NAV history and AUM in excess of category cut-off limits and complete portfolio disclosure”, said the report.

    It has considered three-year NAV history and an AUM cut-off of Rs 50 crore for hybrid schemes along with mean return and volatility among other parameters.

    The report covers 27 aggressive hybrid funds, 16 conservative hybrid funds, and 19 arbitrage funds.
