Mumbai: HDFC Mutual Fund has declared dividend under its schemes HDFC Tax Saver Fund and HDFC Balanced Fund. The record date for distribution of dividend is March 3, 2011.
The quantum of dividend decided for distribution is Rs 6.00 and Rs. 2.25 per unit respectively on the face value of Rs 10.
HDFC Tax Saver Fund is an open ended ELSS scheme with the investment objective to achieve long term growth of capital. The scheme is managed by Vinay Kulkarni and benchmarked against S&P CNX 500. HDFC Balanced Fund is an open ended balanced scheme with the investment objective to generate capital appreciation along with current income from a combined portfolio of equity and equity related instruments and debt & money market instruments. The scheme is managed by Chirag Setalvad and benchmarked against CRISIL Balanced Fund Index.
