The Financial Planning Standards Board India (FPSB India) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Association of Registered Investment Advisors (ARIA) to promote the practice of financial planning in India.
Under this initiative, both FPSB India and ARIA will run an awareness campaign and conduct an industry event to promote financial literacy and raise the bar for financial planning practices in India.
In a press release, Krishan Mishra, CEO, FPSB India, said, "By joining forces, FPSB India and ARIA are reinforcing the importance of ethical and professional financial planning advisory services, setting new benchmarks for the personal finance industry."
Vivek Rege, Chairperson, ARIA, said, " Together, we will work towards enhancing the knowledge of financial planning professionals and spreading awareness on the benefits of financial planning. This will ultimately benefit the end consumers ensuring they receive top-notch financial planning services."
