Two new players - Pantomath Capital Advisors and Choice International have recently sought a mutual fund license from SEBI.
While Pantomath Capital Advisors applied on July 23, Choice International applied on September 3.
Pantomath Capital Advisors is a part of the Pantomath Group, a financial services group which also does investment banking, corporate advisory and structured financial lending as an NBFC (Non-Banking Financial Institution) along with asset management. The group already has an active AIF scheme registered with SEBI that invests in a mix of equity, debt and hybrid instruments in themes like consumer goods & trade and make in India.
On the other hand, Choice International is a financial group established in 1992 which has been involved in wealth management, capital advisory, insurance, lending, equity broking, government advisory and tax advisory. In terms of wealth management, the group has helped companies in asset allocation and offered investment products to corporates.
