Noted author Monika Halan attributes her success to hard work. She said, “Not very different from an investing mantra, find out what you are good at, invest in knowledge and then keep practicing it. When I started a TV show 20 years ago with NDTV I was terrible. Camera shy and wooden. But I strongly believed that I had something important to communicate, so I took the brickbats as stepping stones for improvement. That's what I owe my current life to. Just pressing on even in the face of adverse events.”
