Besides capital market, he will oversee the MF business
Mumbai: Ved Prakash Chaturvedi is taking up new responsibilities in L&T Finance. “I would be heading the capital market business as well as oversee the mutual fund business,” said Ved Prakash Chaturvedi.
Y M Deosthale, L&T’s CFO would be appointed as the chairman of L&T Financial Holdings. Chaturvedi has specialized in finance from IIM Bangalore in late 1980s.
Chaturvedi has worked in the Indian debt and equity markets for over 17 years. He has been associated with various financial services organizations in India including CRISIL, Banque Nationale De Paris, SBI Funds Management, SUN F&C Mutual Fund, Cholamandalam Cazenove Mutual Fund and Tata Mutual Fund. He has also served as a Director on the Board of Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) and member of the SEBI Advisory Committee of Mutual Funds.
