Dinesh Khara, former managing director and CEO of SBI MF has been appointed as the new managing director of SBI Bank. He will be heading associates and subsidiary businesses of SBI Bank.
Sources privy to the development said that Khara has already joined SBI Bank.
The new managing director and CEO of SBI Mutual Fund is yet to be appointed. Sources said that the new CEO is likely to be appointed from the bank.
Khara was instrumental in the growth of SBI MF. Under Khara’s leadership, SBI MF crossed a milestone of Rs.1 lakh crore AUM to become the fifth largest fund house by assets.
SBI MF manages AUM of Rs.1.20 lakh crore as on June 2016.
