Actress, ex-MTV VJ and model  Shenaz Treasuryvala who was recently seen in Delhi Belly, divides her time between New York and Mumbai. She is currently acting in a TV series One Life to Live on ABC. She confesses to Cafemutual that acting, love and life are her priorities while financial affairs take a back seat.

 Who manages your financial affairs?

Keeping a tab on finances and money matters has never been my strong suit. I leave it on my dad to take care of my financial affairs.  

Is there a financial planner, bank, wealth manager involved? 

Er, right now I'm working and living in New York.  I have been on a spending spree and not saving that much. So I don't have planner or wealth manger advising me.

Have you invested in stocks or mutual funds or insurance? 

Yes, my dad has invested on my behalf

Which is the best investment you have made till now?

Investment in Love. You can win or lose but you've got to take a chance because the returns are big. Kinda like stocks and shares 

Any investment that you repent making?

Investment in envy. That’s a waste of time. 

Are you a finance savvy person?

(Laughs!) I guess you know the answer by now.

Would you feel financially secure after having a well charted financial plan for yourself and your family?

Yes I guess I would. . A well charted out plan would help  in having a secure future and not make me compromise on my lifestyle.

Are you a saver or spender?

Spender. 

If a budding VJ/actor were to seek your guidance on managing his/her finances, what would be your advice?

Have fun. Travel.  Shop. Forget worrying about the future. There's a romance in being broke. Ha ha. Just kidding.
