Retail investors are slowly getting back on Dalal Street via the mutual fund and IPO routes. There is a lot of excitement in the IPO space, which is just the beginning and not the end, says Nilesh Shah, MD of Kotak Mutual Fund.
"The excitement is not as high as it was in 2008, but my feeling is that this excitement is good for the market. It is bringing retail investors into the forte of the capital market," he said.
