Insurer has launched a programme featuring the success stories of six successful insurance agents from Maharashtra.
Kotak Life Insurance is trying to motivate insurance distributors and encourage more people to join the insurance industry. It has launched a daily TV show which is being aired on Marathi channel IBN Lokmat at 5:00 pm, anchored by noted Marathi film actor Prasad Oak. The 30-minute program portrays the true success stories of six top insurance agents from Maharashtra.
The show has been on air for over a week. The program drives home the fact that if agents put in extra effort in servicing clients and suggest the right product based on the needs of the consumer, they can easily generate business. It showcases how a few part-time agents have applied these principles to service their clients, and have moved on to make insurance their full-time business.
At a time when many agents are quitting the industry, this series is meant to inspire them to continue their business even during difficult times. The insurer is planning to launch more such shows.
According to a statement from Kotak Life, “In a country where no defined social security mechanisms exist, by selling life insurance, life advisors are crucial to help families come under the umbrella of financial protection to guard them in case of any unforeseen eventuality to earning members in the family.”
Insurance agents form
the crucial link between an insurer and its customers. After Max New York Life
featured its agents giving proper advice to clients, this is the second attempt
by an insurer to focus on its field-force.
