IRDAI appoints MF officials on its newly formed investment committee

IRDAI has formed a new committee - Consultative Committee on Investment in which it has appointed three MF officials – Chirag Setalvad, CIO, HDFC MF, Rajeev Radhakrishnan, CIO, Fixed Income, SBI MF and Leena Vijayvargiy, Chief Risk Officer, HDFC MF. 

The 14-member committee headed by Supratim Bandopadhyay, Former Chairman, PFRDA will review the investment framework on managing investments in the insurance industry. 

The committee will also advise IRDAI on development in the economy, financial markets, risk management and so on.

The committee will meet at least once in three months and will remain active for two years.
