The product provides an emergency health cover across the world. Under this facility, if your client falls sick abroad, he/she can claim for cost of treatment.
Cigna TTK Health Insurance, the latest entrant in the non-life insurance industry announced the launch of its first policy called ProHealth.
In a press release, Sandeep Patel, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, Cigna TTK said, “ProHealth has four variants and multiple customization options to cater to all consumer segments. Our focus in on health and wellness, hence we have introduced unique benefits such as healthy rewards and healthy maintenance benefits to encourage consumers to stay healthy.”
While health maintenance benefit covers cost of diagnostic test, drugs and doctor’s fees, healthy reward program allows policyholders to earn reward points on the premium paid. These reward points can be redeemed for medical checkups or to avail discount on premium after two years.
Also, the product provides an emergency health cover in which policyholders can claim cost of treatment incurred during medical treatment abroad up to a certain limit.
Prohealth is available in four variants – ProHealth Protect, ProHealth Plus, ProHealth Preferred and ProHealth Premier. Policyholders can avail insurance ranging from Rs. 2.5 lakh to Rs. 1 crore. Maternity and newborn baby coverage are included in all these policies except ProHealth Protect.
In addition, the company offers value added services like expert medical opinion on critical illnesses once during a policy year, said a company press release.
