IRDAI appoints Satyajit Tripathy as Member - Distribution

Tripathy will be the Member of IRDAI till 2026.

The Government of India has appointed Satyajit Tripathy, 60, former CMD of United India Insurance (UII) as the Member (Distribution) of IRDAI.

Tripathy retired from the United India Insurance in February. He will be the Member of the IRDAI till February 2026. He has a rich experience of 36 years in the insurance industry. He started his career as an agriculture expert with General Insurance Corporation back in 1988.

Tripathy will be taking over from SN Rajeswari who retired from the position on March 4.
