HDFC Life has crossed the AUM milestone of Rs 3 lakh crore. The life insurance company has a debt: equity mix of 67:33 with about 99% of debt investments in government bonds and AAA rated securities as on Mar 31, 2024.
In a press release, Prasun Gajri, CIO HDFC Life said, “Reaching Rs.3 lakh crore in AUM highlights our ongoing focus on disciplined investment practices and strategic asset allocation. HDFC Life Insurance collected new business premium of Rs 30,000 crore during FY 2024, a growth of 4% in one year. It ranks second among private insurers in terms of new business premium.
