Galaxy Health appoints G Srinivasan as the MD & CEO

Galaxy Health Insurance is a joint venture between Star Health Founder V Jagannathan and TVS Group’s V Srinivasan.

Galaxy Health Insurance, which is yet to start its operations has appointed the industry veteran G Srinivasan as the MD & CEO of the company.

Srinivasan has 40 years of experience in various aspects of the Insurance landscape. He has held leadership positions in United India Insurance and New India Assurance. He has been the Director of various Boards including GIC Re. He was also the Chairman of General Insurance Council and was also the Director of National Insurance Academy, Pune.

IRDAI has recently granted license to Galaxy Health Insurance for standalone health insurance.

The company is jointly promoted by Venu Srinivasan’s renowned industrial giant - TVS group who have joined hands with the family of V. Jagannathan, former CMD of United India Insurance and the founder of Star Health & Allied Insurance.
