    UTI Nifty 50 Index Fund, HDFC Index Fund Nifty 50 Plan and HDFC Index S&P BSE Sensex Fund are the top three funds in the large cap space.

    UTI Nifty 50 Index Fund, HDFC Index Fund Nifty 50 Plan and HDFC Index S&P BSE Sensex Fund are the three biggest index funds in the large cap space, shows research done by Cafemutual. These funds have AUM of Rs. 9,480 crore, Rs. 7,480 crore and Rs. 4,180 crore as on January 17, 2023, respectively.

    Apart from the top three, four more funds manage assets of over Rs. 2,000 crore. These are ICICI Prudential Nifty 50 Index Fund (Rs 3,960 crore), SBI Nifty Index Fund (Rs. 3,250 crore), ICICI Prudential Nifty Next 50 Index Fund (Rs. 2,610 crore) and UTI Nifty Next 50 Index Fund (Rs. 2,110 crore).

    In the mid cap and small cap space, Motilal Oswal Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund (Rs. 630 crore) and Nippon India Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund (Rs. 390 crore) take the lead, respectively.

    And, in the debt segment, Aditya Birla Sun Life Nifty SDL Plus PSU Bond Sep 2026 60:40 Index Fund is the largest fund with Rs. 9,390 crore of assets.

    • Motilal Oswal Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund (Rs. 635 crore)
    • Nippon India Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund (Rs.   538 crore)
    • ICICI Prudential Nifty Midcap 150 Index Fund (Rs. 98 crore)

    Small Cap

    • Nippon India Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund (Rs. 395 crore)
    • Motilal Oswal Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund (Rs. 321 crore)
    • ICICI Prudential Nifty Smallcap 250 Index Fund   (Rs. 66 crore)

    Flexi Cap

    • Motilal Oswal Nifty 500 Index Fund (Rs. 383 crore)

     

    Thematic

    • Motilal Oswal Nifty Bank Index Fund (Rs. 333 crore)

    Factor

    • UTI Nifty200 Momentum 30 Index Fund (Rs. 2,078 crore)
    • Nippon India Nifty 50 Value 20 Index Fund (Rs. 225 crore)
    • Edelweiss Nifty 100 Quality 30 Index Fund (Rs. 12 crore)

    International

    • Motilal Oswal S&P 500 Index Fund (Rs. 2,413 crore)
    • ICICI Prudential NASDAQ 100 Index Fund (Rs. 500 crore)
    • Edelweiss MSCI India Domestic & World Healthcare 45 Index Fund (Rs.    139 crore)
