Cafemutual’s Ready Reckoner in June 2024 on ETFs shows that Nippon India Mutual Fund has the highest 1-year average trading volume across ETF categories.
Out of 10 ETF categories, Nippon India Mutual Fund has the highest 1-year trading volume in 7 ETF categories - large cap, mid cap, liquid, factor, gold, silver and sectoral/thematic.
1-year average trading volume is calculated by the average amount of trade in a year divided by the number of days in the trading cycle. Trading volume indicates the liquidity and number of investors. The higher the trading volume, better the liquidity of the fund.
Among large-cap ETFs, Nippon India ETF Nifty 50 BeES has the highest 1-year average trading volume of Rs. 80.12 crore followed by SBI Nifty 50 ETF with Rs. 26.4 crore and Nippon India ETF Nifty Next 50 Junior BeES with Rs. 9.74 crore, respectively.
Nippon India ETF Nifty Midcap 150 has the highest 1- year trading volume among mid cap funds whereas in sectoral/ thematic funds Nippon India ETF Nifty Bank BeES has the highest 1-year average trading volume.
Further, ICICI Prudential Nifty 100 Low Volatility 30 ETF tops the list among factor funds.
Nippon India ETF Nifty 1D Rate Liquid BeES ETF has the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 323 crore among liquid ETFs whereas ICICI Prudential S&P BSE Liquid Rate ETF and DSP NIFTY 1D Rate Liquid ETF have the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 74 crore and Rs. 52 crore, respectively.
Nippon India ETF Gold BeES has the highest 1-year trading volume of Rs. 27 crore under gold ETFs, followed by ICICI Prudential Gold ETF and SBI Gold ETF with 1-year average trading volume of Rs 5.38 crore and 5.11 crore respectively
Lastly, Nippon India Silver ETF has the highest 1-year trading volume of 28 crore under silver ETFs and Motilal Oswal NASDAQ 100 ETF tops the international funds list.
