Financial advisors have taken the new age media route to create awareness on mutual funds. Setting an example, Gaurav Mashruwala will appear on the online digital channel, Quint Hindi, and Quint’s YouTube Channel.
The Mumbai based advisor of A Cutting Edge will be hosting a show, Dhan ki Baat, in which he will explain how to go about investments and answer people’s queries on personal finance. Gaurav will take up key issues related to personal finance like family budget and, financial planning.
Sharing the rationale for this move, Gaurav told Cafemutual that a digital platform has become the best way to connect with youngsters, who typically spend more time online than reading newspapers, or watching television.
“When I was approached for this show, I readily agreed because I wanted to reach out to the youth of our country and create a financially healthy India,” Gaurav added.
Talking about the show, he further shared, “This 3-4 minute show will address key concerns of investors on dealing with finances. This is a Hindi show as we want to reach out to a wide audience across the country. This show will also be uploaded on YouTube, Quint’s website, Twitter and Facebook.”
Gaurav Mashruwala is a prominent personality in the finance industry. His columns and TV appearances have made him a well-known name in the financial advisory domain. He has also authored Essential Guide to Carefree Retirement, Yogic Wealth, Life Planning for Retirees and was a consulting editor of Layman's Guide to Wealth Creation.
