Noida MFD Akta Sehgal of Manas Wealth has written a poem to spread financial awareness among women.
Titled, ‘गुल्लक का एक सिक्का’, the poem encourages women to actively make financial decisions instead of leaving such decisions to their male counterparts.
The गुल्लक mentioned in the poem symbolises the traditional belief of men being the financial decision-makers. It also signifies the old way of saving money in a jar.
She explained, “Women should break these age-old beliefs and take charge of their finances. They should look at return-generating instruments like mutual funds to create wealth over time.”
Interestingly, Akta recites ‘गुल्लक का एक सिक्का’ during educational sessions with women investors and shares the recorded poem with them over WhatsApp.
