    This Nashik MFD collects e-waste to make India free from digital pollution

    This Republic Day, Nashik MFD Rupali Kulkarni, Training Head, SWS Financial Solutions participated in e-waste collection drive by installing a collection point at her office.

    Through this drive, the woman MFD along with SWS Financial Solutions team approached over 2000 clients to encourage them to dispose their e-waste like electronic goods and gadgets. They also educated their clients that disposing e-waste without segregating it with bio waste can lead to air, water and soil pollution.

    It all started when Rupali was listening to a radio program that talked about ill effects of e-waste. The program also urged people to volunteer for e-waste collection center, which was scheduled between January 24 and January 26.

    Rupali felt the need of making India e-waste free this Republic Day and hence, volunteered to collect such waste by installing e-waste collection center at her office.

    Overall, Rupali and the team collected close to 100 kg of e-waste during the three-day drive. The drive was organized by the Computer Society of India.

    SWS Financial Solutions manages AUM of over Rs.425 crore. RP Adhikari is the CEO of the company.
