When the entire country was celebrating the Pran Pratistha of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22, Indore MFD Vijay Kumar Gupta used a verse from the Ramayana to encourage people to do SIPs to create wealth.
Vijay said that over 80 investors participated in this drive to do 151 SIPs amounting to Rs.4.35 lakh in a single day.
Enthusiasm among people about Pran Pratistha of Ram Mandir encouraged Vijay to execute this SIP drive. He said, “Since everyone was talking about Ram Lalla, I thought of linking Ramayana with SIPs to encourage people to start their investing journey. I approached many investors and told them - just like Lord Ram and his Vaanar Sena built Ram Setu by using stones to reach Lanka to save Mata Sita, they can achieve their financial goals through SIPs. Many of them liked the idea of doing SIPs on this auspicious day to achieve goals like retirement, children education and buying a house.”
Vijay first reached out to his existing set of clients who had bought insurance through him. He encouraged them by linking investment concepts with Ramayana. He also met a few clients through referrals 15 days prior to the SIP drive day.
Overall, Vijay encouraged over 60 insurance clients and 20 new clients to start SIP to achieve financial goals.
Vijay attributes the success of this drive to Rajesh Kulwal, President, Central India MFD Association who encouraged him to do SIP drive on Ram Lalla’s birthday.
