    Weekdays

Like most of us, my weekdays are flooded with work. However, I manage to spare at least 5 hours a day for 2Fs – family and fitness. I play badminton for at least 2 hours a day. Swimming and gym also interest me. I spend rest of the time with my family as it is most important to me. We usually watch a movie or binge on online series before going to bed every day. I sleep early and have dinner by 6 in the evening.

    Weekends

Even on weekends I wake up early in the morning at 5.45 am after which I play badminton and swim at club for 2-3 hours.

    Vacations

Apart from the public holidays and weekends, I take around 25-30 days off in a year for at least 6 trips. I like travelling to different locations within and outside India.

My favorite destination in India is a place called Malavali which is near Lonavala in Maharashtra. While we hold our annual get together at Malavali, I also like it because of its serenity.

Mauritius is by far my favorite destination abroad as I like its climate and beaches.

    Favorite pastime

I like to read non-fiction books like psychology or behavioral finance books. I have also recently started reading mythology.

But my favourite pastime is watching movies and series.  I can watch things in a loop. In fact, I have watched “Sarabhai vs Sarabhai” at least 50 times. Recently, I have watched the movie “Qarib Qarib Single” multiple times.

I also like shopping at the airport where I always find something interesting like antiques or t-shirts with funny quotes. I also like watches. Many a time, I have ended up buying watches at airports.

    Eat and Drink

My favorite cuisine is ‘south Indian’. I enjoy ‘rasam vada’ the most. I usually dine out at a south Indian restaurants and my favorite is Café Madras.

I don’t enjoy alcohol much but occasionally my friends and I hit the bar. I don’t have any favorite drink and cocktail per se.

    Music

I am a quintessential Bollywood fan. My favorite singer is Bappi Lahiri and the song that I listen to the most is “Yaad aa raha hai” from the movie “Disco Dancer”.

    Charity or Social Work

Our family has a trust ‘Jain Investment Foundation’ which provides healthcare and education to those in need. It is a self-funded trust and my father is the head trustee.
