Himachal MFDs install sanitizer dispensers in government offices

Founders of Rupee Express Vishal Mahajan and Vikrant Katoch have installed 25 such dispensers.

Vishal Mahajan and Vikrant Katoch, founders of Rupee Express, Shimla have installed contactless dispensers in government offices like CM office, Mantralaya, electricity board office and so on.

Contactless sanitizer dispensers enable visitors to sanitize hands without touching the bottle.

It all started when Vishal Mahajan visited a government office and observed that the office lacked proper sanitization facilities. “Most private offices are equipped with modern sanitization equipment. However, many government offices lack these facilities. In fact, government offices have to employ a person only to give sanitizer to visitors. Hence, we decided to extend our support to government employees who have been risking their lives to deal with covid-19 pandemic and ensure governancecontinuity.”

Over the last one month, both Mahajan and Katoch have installed 25 such dispensers in government offices across the city. Each machine is worth of Rs.2500.

In addition, they have been distributing masks and sanitizers to government employees. Further, they plan to install another 5 such dispensers this month.

Rather than installing sanitizer dispenser in govt offices, they must have to install these machines into markets, mandi, colonies, etc to save from spread of covid 19. In govt offices, its govt duty to install sanitizer dispenser. Till yet, govt didn';t disclose the amount collected and uses in PM Cares fund. Covid 19 cases increasing very fast. Its time to install sanitizer in markets, colonies, etc to stop the spread.

Dear Vishal & Vikranth, Congrats for your efforts in helping the Aam Aadmi. However, I wish to inform that though the Governments are permitted to spend the tax payers money on such preventive care stuff, the situation is such that the bills and expenses would have already found an entry in the books of accounts. The only tragedy is that the physical items like masks, sanitizers etc., would not have been actually received at the Government Offices, but would have gone directly to the medical shops owned by the higher authorities in the HP Government. I also would suggest that your make a RTI enquiry about this whole issue I would rather suggest that you extend this service (like how Mr. Vikram has suggested) to those poor colonies and bastis where they do not have the economic power to purchase such items. God bless you both.
