    Meet the SIP soldier who convinced clients to start SIP this Navratri

    Many Indians prefer to invest on auspicious occasions. And what better than Navratri - beginning of the festive season that leads to Dussehra and then Diwali.

    This period is considered a good time to invest in gold and other assets. MFD Roopesh Jaitly from Lucknow saw this as a great opportunity to convince investors to invest in mutual funds which can be more beneficial than the traditional investments.

    Preparation

    Like the nine days of Navratri signifies victory of good over evil, Roopesh guided his clients to take control of finances and free themselves from the evil of no financial planning.

    Connecting one-on-one with his prospects on phone calls and in physical meetings, Roopesh convinced them to invest during this auspicious occasion keeping in mind these nine investment traits.

    Overall, Roopesh interacted with at least five prospects and clients every day. He continued this activity for a month which gave him over 75 SIP investors including many new clients.

    Interestingly, he invited 10 first time investors to his office and got 10 AMC officials to make these clients understand how fund houses manage schemes.
