The recent rally in the market has made clients happy and encouraged them to invest more. Three MFDs - Dipesh Sethia, Mehul Shah and Ram Shanker Verma took this opportunity to conduct their first SIP drive.

Dipesh Sethia, Agra, UP
Executed 102 SIPs totalling Rs.3 lakh on February 8
Dipesh got an idea to conduct SIP drive after receiving positive feedback from clients on the performance of their funds
- Focussed on young clients as they are more likely to invest for children’s education and retirement
- Approached 200 such clients in one month mostly through meetings
- Since many clients were happy with their investment portfolio, they agreed to participate in SIP drive to invest for their children’s education and retirement
- Launched a digital campaign with a message ‘Good investments are done in bad times but there is no bad time for SIPs’. The campaign received a good response and many prospects approached him with queries on mutual funds
- Overall, 102 clients participated in the SIP drive
Mehul Shah, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
Conducted 305 SIPs totalling Rs.10 lakh on February 15
- Inspired by stories of SIP heroes on Cafemutual
- Themed ‘SIP for valentine’, he approached clients with a goal to start SIP for international trip after 3/5 years on valentine’s day with spouse
- Launched a social media campaign on this theme. The campaign excited many young couples to start SIP for holidays
- Conducted webinar on benefits of SIPs for prospective clients to encourage them to start SIP for creating memories with their life partner
- Asked clients to make a list of places for vacation with life partner to create emotional connect
Ram Shanker Verma, Etah, UP
Did 101 SIPs amounting to Rs.1.5 lakh on January 27
- Inspired by the stories of successful SIP drive on Cafemutual, Ram conducted his SIP drive
- His theme for SIP drive was ‘financial freedom’ in line with the Republic Day
- Launched this campaign across digital channels like WhatsApp and Facebook by posting informative videos and creatives on benefits of SIPs
- Received queries from over 25 prospects after this campaign
- Approached over 150 clients and explained to them benefits of starting new SIPs to attain financial freedom
