Bhubaneswar MFD Trinath Lenka of Wallet Finserve has been distributing meals to at least 100 underprovided covid patients daily.
It all started when Trinath contracted the virus in April 2021. He was isolated at home and had access to nutritious food. He; however, realized that there were many people who may be facing difficulty to arrange basic meals. As soon as he recovered, he started distributing nutritious food packets to the underprivileged people affected with the virus in his vicinity.
Over time, he started distributing meals at three location - Bhubaneswar, Angul and Damanjodi through his branch offices.
Currently, Trinath and his team distribute 100 food packets daily among underprivileged covid patients. Trinath, in consultation with a nutritionist, decides menu for creating a balanced diet every day.
Trinath is also actively engaged in arranging ambulance, medicines and hospital beds through his professional and personal connects. Recently, he purchased an oxygen concentrator for needy people. Additionally, he has been arranging doctor consultation for underprivileged people.
Trinath has been funding all these initiative on his own. He says, "We must give back to the society, which has given us everything.”
