Amit Charadava of Junagarh and Munnavar Khan of Bhopal have recently conducted their vaccination drives for the third gender community. These drives also formed a part of the nation’s record vaccinations for celebrating the Prime Minister’s 71st birthday.

Amit Charadava of Jash Consultancy, Junagarh, Gujarat
25 transgenders received their second dose of the covid-19 vaccine on 17 Sep 2021. Notably, the first dose of the vaccine was administered during drive organised by Amit earlier.
Amit approached transgenders for the second dose of vaccine and arranged pickup-and-drop facility for them. He has also gifted clothes and jewellery to pay a tribute to this community.
Additionally, Amit conducts a vaccination drive every Saturday at his office premises. More than 9500 people have benefited from these drives.
Munnavar Khan of Vision Advisory Services, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh
Munnavar approached transgender community to facilitate their vaccination. He also sought their support to be a part of the ‘Jan Jagrut Abhiyan’ for inspiring general people to come forward and get vaccinated.
125 transgenders received their first dose on 17 Sep 2021 and were assured a similar arrangement for their second dose. The vaccination centre was specially set up in their vicinity. They were served refreshments too.
Munnavar along with these transgenders distributed 500 masks to spread awareness under the ‘Jan Jagrut Abhiyan’. He is a part of the ‘Vaccination Mahaabhiyan’ volunteering team formed by the Madhya Pradesh Government and has facilitated more than 5000 vaccinations so far.
