Sikkim Governor Ganga Prasad and DIG CRPF in association with Dainik Jagran have felicitated Chandan Ghosh of Prudent Wealth Management for excellent performance in the wealth management space. The popular Hindi newspaper had organised ‘The Icon of North Bengal, 2022’ awards on Jan 12, 2022 at Siliguri, West Bengal.
‘The Icon of North Bengal’ recognises achievers across different segments like entrepreneurship, medicine, wealth management, and social work amongst others.
An elated Chandan told Cafemutual, “This is an iconic award and I am humbled to receive this honour.” He believes that what helped him bag this coveted title was the rapid growth of business and community service.
Chandan started his business practice in Siliguri around 8 years back and has been using innovative ways to widen his reach. His monthly magazine ‘PW Insider’ has close to 10,000 subscribers as of today.
Talking about his community initiatives, Chandan said, “Every year we take up one cause and whole-heartedly work towards it.” Recently, he along with his team encouraged investors and other acquaintances to donate used clothes. Around 12,000 clothing items were collected in this drive which were cleaned and donated to tea farmworkers.
In his parting shot, Chandan said, “With this award comes a lot of responsibility - responsibility to add more value in the life of clients.”
Interestingly, Chandan was also awarded ‘The Responsible MFD Heroes’ at Cafemutual Ideas Fest 2021.
