Keep these 4 parts of your website fresh

It is more important than ever to keep your site fresh with new and dynamic content.

It is more important than ever to keep your site fresh with new and dynamic content.

Tessie Sanci, of Investment Executive, recently sat down with our very own Loic Jeanjean to discuss the four essential components of your website that must be kept up-to-date.

It’s more important than ever to keep your site fresh with new and dynamic content. Established high quality websites are in a constant swing of updating and revision. Your website should try to accomplish this even if it’s once a month by adding new content or updating certain pages.

Loic, Director of Marketing and Sales here at Advisor Websites,  goes on to say that there are four major pieces of your website that should be always be kept up to date.

    1. Articles and Blog Posts:

Publishing new articles consistently can be one of the best forms of content marketing available to you. It helps with traffic numbers, lead generation, and social sharing. Blogging or article posts simply help you develop your online presence. Moreover, if you have blog posts that are dated or completely irrelevant on your site, people instantly start to ask themselves whether you’re still  in operation.

    2. Biography

Often the biography gets left on the back burner. This shouldn’t be the case as it’s a part of your website where visitors learn more about you. These don’t have to be updated constantly just consistently. Set aside a time once a year to add features that grow your credibility and tell a bit more about yourself and your experiences.  Achievements or awards can be a primary resource when updating your biography and developing a compelling story.  This can be done at the beginning or end or each year.

    3. Professional Photo

There’s nothing worse than seeing a photo that was taken many years ago. Consumers are smart and can typically spot a dated professional photo. Can you imagine the surprise a new potential client will have when interacting with you in person when they only had your website photo to go off of?

    4. Team Profiles

Always add new team member to your website. It shows that not only is your company growing, but that you are on top of all aspects of your business including your digital channels.
