Prathit Bhobe has joined Tata Mutual Fund as the new CEO and Managing Director with effect from May 29, 2018, confirmed Bhobe.
Prior to this, Bhobe was Senior General Manager with ICICI Bank where he headed the retail liabilities product, wealth management and private banking businesses. His responsibilities included product management for savings account, wealth management, private banking, mutual funds and insurance. He has banking experience of more than 21 years.
Prior to his tenure at ICICI Bank, Bhobe was with Citibank for 8 years where he successfully ran the Banking vertical in the distribution business. Sources said that Raghav Singhal has succeeded him at ICICI Bank.
In June last year, R Ganesh had left Tata Mutual Fund as the CEO. Currently, the fund house manages Rs.47,000 crore as on March 2018.
