To help advisors of non-metro cities make better use of the registrar and transfer agent’s services and grow their business, Karvy Computershare has been hosting a series of knowledge events.
As a part of this initiative, the R&T agent will hold knowledge event for advisors in Trichy on September 20. The R&T agent plans to hold such events in 20 non-metro locations. So far, they have conducted these events in 9 locations.
Ravikumar Somasi, General Manager, Karvy Computershare said that IFAs in non-metro locations are not aware of services offered by R&T agents such as mail back services, GST invoices, Aadhaar updating and so on.
R&T agents offer a variety of services to distributors such as transfer of funds, general business reports like commission data, scheme-wise and fund house-wise AUM, cancelled transactions and so on.
Somasi further said, “We give them demo sessions. Post such sessions, we encourage them to ask questions on our services. I can say it is more like an interactive session for IFAs.”
In the next two months, the R&T agent will hold such events in Raipur, Ranchi, Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, Shimla and Panjim.
