Gautam Sinha Roy, Associate Director-Fund Manager, Motilal Oswal MF has resigned from his post.
The AMC website shows that Roy, who used to co-manage four schemes – Motilal Oswal multicap 35 fund, Motilal Oswal long-term equity fund, Motilal Oswal dynamic fund and Motilal Oswal focused 25 fund – has not been in charge of these schemes since May 17.
Roy used to co-manage Motilal Oswal focused 25 fund with Siddharth Bothra and the other three schemes with Akash Singhania.
Roy worked with the Motilal Oswal group for more than 6 years. Prior to this, he had also worked with IIFL Capital (Singapore), Mirae Asset Global Investments, Edelweiss Capital and GE Capital International Services.
Roy is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta and holds an honours degree in chemical engineering.
