We have all come across parents who have named their children after their favourite movie star or sportsperson. If you think that is interesting, here is something truly fascinating: a Sweden-based Indian couple has named their daughter ‘Mirae’ after the fund house Mirae Asset.
The name Mirae is of Korean origin and means "Future, New Life".
Parents of the baby, Vishal and Dhanista Kharparde have been investing in Mirae Asset MF for some time now and are pleased with the fund house’s performance. Dr Rohan Chahande, uncle of the baby, posted this on Twitter.
In response, Swarup Mohanty, CEO, Mirae Asset MF said, “This is very humbling and inspiring at the same time. We wish baby Mirae good health and a very bright future.”
