IDFC Mutual Fund has appointed Sachin Relekar as Senior Fund Manager - Equity.
Prior to this, Relekar was the CIO - Equity of LIC Mutual Fund. He has also worked with Tata Mutual Fund and CD Equi Search. He is a CFA and completed his Masters in Management Studies from Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies after doing engineering from Shivaji University.
In a press release, Anoop Bhaskar, Head – Equity, IDFC AMC said, “Having covered an array of sectors like infrastructure, power utilities, metals, oil & gas and automobile in the past, Sachin will play an important role in strengthening our research output and fund management capabilities. We are delighted to have him on-board, further strengthening the fund management team at IDFC Mutual Fund.”
IDFC AMC manages assets of Rs.1.20 lakh crore as on November 2020.
