Mumbai: Religare Mutual Fund has announced that Krishna Cheemalpati has joined as Fund Manager- Fixed Income with effect from January 18, 2011. Cheemalpati has done BE (ECE), PGDFA and CFA. He has 13 years of experience in fixed income market. Prior to this, he was working with Reliance General Insurance Company as Chief Investment Officer.
Religare said Abbas Ratnani has ceased to be its equity fund manager. Vetri Subramaniam, Head of Equity Funds at Religare, will now be the fund manager for Religare Arbitrage Fund, Religare AGILE Fund and Religare AGILE Tax Fund. These funds were managed by Ratnani.
Religare also said Anil Saxena has resigned from its Board of Directors with effect from January 12, 2011.
