    Over the last decade, fund houses have increased their exposure to HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Maruti Suzuki India and Bharat Electronics.

    In the last one decade – between December 2010 and December 2020, the fund houses have increased their exposure to HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries and Sun Pharmaceutical, shows the report released by Invest Yadnya, a financial education & research company.

    Invest Yadnya has put together a list of the top stocks bought and sold by the mutual fund industry across categories over the last 10 years.

    Let us look at the list of 10 most favourite stocks of MF in top 10 sectors

    • Financial, energy and technology sector were the top 3 sectors for mutual funds
    • MFs have increased allocation to HDFC Bank, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharmaceuticals Industries, Maruti Suzuki India and Bharat Electronics
    • Other companies witnessing increase in allocation – Infosys, ITC, L&T and Asian Paints
    • One new company – Avenue Supermarts (D-Mart) made it to the list of top 10 large cap holdings
