This is the top 'weekend quote' that comes up when you make a google search and it very well tells us how obsessed we are with our weekends. The two-day break from work never seems enough. And to say the truth, even the extended ones do not seem long enough.
And the reason is simple: we aim to do a lot of things during the short period. There are books and movies lined up to read and watch. Family outings and get-togethers are planned. And then there are household works to do, extra naps to take and hobbies to indulge in.
But one thing's for sure. Every weekend leaves us with learnings and memories that are worth sharing with our close ones.
At Cafemutual, we often share our weekend memories with each other. And we now plan to take the practice to our extended family, i.e., the mutual fund industry.
The idea is to open an informal route of conversation so that we all get to know each other better.
We have come up with an interactive idea, called 'Iss Weekend Apne Kya Kiya', where we will use our social media handles to facilitate the sharing of weekend memories.
