Sapient Wealth, Wealth Managers (India) and KNS Money are the top three individual MFDs of India in terms of assets under advisory (AUA), shows the latest AMFI data.
Sapient Wealth remains at the top with 28% surge in AUA in FY 2021. The top individual distributor has average AUM of Rs 5,889 crore in FY 2021 as against Rs 4,607 crore in FY 2020. The jump in AUM is also due to the merger of Dhruv Mehta and Roopa Venkatakrishnan's MFD business with Sapient Wealth last year.
Wealth Managers (India) has maintained its second ranking in FY 2021 albeit with a slight decrease in AUA at Rs 4,302 crore. The position of KNS Money also remained unchanged in the latest ranking.
Interestingly, the top two individual distribution firm are based out of Pune.
Coimbatore MFD firm Three Cube has moved up the ladder by one spot with 36% jump in AUA in the previous financial year. Three Cube has AUA of Rs 2,093 crore in FY 2021 compared to Rs 1,543 crore in FY 2020.
