    What went in and out of MF portfolios in February

    Here’s a list of most bought and sold stocks by mutual funds last month

    Piramal Enterprises, PB Fintech and JSW Energy were the top three largecap additions in mutual fund portfolios in February. DLF, Godrej Consumers and Motherson Sumi also witnessed heightened buying interest from mutual funds, shows a report by ICICI Direct.

    In January, Havells India, Vedanta and Interglobe Aviation were the top three buys in the largecap space.

    HDFC AMC, Vedanta and IRCTC topped the list of most sold largecap stocks. SAIL, Tata Power, Apollo Hospitals and Zomato were also part of this list.

    In the midcap space, GMR Infra, Bandhan Bank and Vodafone India were the most sought after stocks by mutual funds. On the other hand, Escorts, Colgate-Palmolive and PNB were the top sells along with Bharat Heavy Electricals, Aditya Birla Sun Life AMC and Oil India.

    Interestingly, GMR Infra was the most sold midcap stock in January. The top buy list was headed by Bandhan Bank.

    Smallcaps

    TV18 Broadcast was the most bought smallcap stock last month, followed by Aegis Logistics, Restaurant Brands Asia and Equitas Small Finance Bank. Top sells in the smallcap space included CE Info Systems, PTC India and Amara Raja Batteries. These three stocks were the top sells in January as well.
